Here are a couple of pictures from my trip. Missy and I celebrated our birthdays since we never get to celebrate together. It's true...I am old. I will be 31 on Friday, with gray hair and all. Time flies when you're having fun!

Back to reality

We had such a good time in Arkansas. Ethan and Aiden loved seeing their cousins. Ethan showed his concerns over so much pink and wanted nothing to do with anything girlie. I tried to get him to sleep in a princess bed covered in Lightning McQueen stuff, but he figured it out quickly. He didn't even want to wear sunscreen that came from a pink bottle. It was fun. Aiden was in HEAVEN! Michaels house was nice because we could block the kitchen off and Aiden could cruise everywhere. He had fun keeping up with the big kids too. It was so much fun to see my cute nieces. They are so beautiful and getting bigger every day. I was grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them. Arkansas is a beautiful place to see. It is so green there, especially compared to Utah. And the humidity is good for my cracky skin. So, today I will spend lots of time getting my kids back on track, doing laundry, and getting ready for camp. I go next week. It will be an intersting challenge I hope I am ready to take on. I just want to thank Mike and Missy for having us, and for the good times. And thanks for the great birthday present, Mom!

In the beginning...

So, I guess this is the new thing to do, and I am always up for a challenge and learning new things, so why not start something about me and my family. I don't ever feel like I do alot to justify putting things into a blog, but I will see how this goes. It sounds fun. For a quick update, we have been spending ALOT of time at Cherry Hill this summer. It is so relaxing there, and fun to see friends. In fact, I ran into Joel Taylor on Tuesday night and Rob and Angel Christensen on Saturday. It had been a long time, but good to see them. My husband, Scott, got some really great news last week. He passed his professional engineering exam! I am so proud of him. He worked really hard for that, and it is a milestone in his career. Way to go Babe! Ethan just turned 3, and says something cute everyday. He is a typical 3-year old who loves to play in the dirt and loves adventure. He asks questions about everything all the time, even when he knows the answer. Sometimes it is a challenge for my sanity, but I know it is part of learning. Aiden is 15 months and my handful. He loves to climb stairs, and crazy at it sounds, hit his head on most anything. He doesn't mind when he pinches fingers, just as long as he can be into everything. He just got really brave with walking, so a new challenge is upon me. He is also teething. Yea. As for me, I am obviously keeping up with my boys, but also serving as the Beehive advisor in my ward. This has been an intersting challenge for me because I like to plan things in advance, and the ladies I am working with don't. I have learned a lot of patience through all of this. And, on Sunday, our camp director had to back out because her husband is sick. We go to camp July 5th and nothing was planned. So, we have been doing a mad scramble to put things together. I have been busy. Well, I guess that is all for now. I am taking my boys to visit my brother in Arkansas on Friday. I am looking forward to it. So until next time...
