All systems fail...
So, one thing that I look forward to about summer is that the probability of illness being significantly lower. WHO AM I FOOLING????? There has been someone sick in my house every week since the 4th of July. I am at my whit's end. Just when I think that things are going to run smooth because the last person is healthy again, another something pops up. It makes me wonder if I will survive winter. Ugh!

Galoon!
Yesterday we had a great time at Lagoon. We went with Scott's family and had so much fun. I was impressed at my boys who just kept on going and tried to keep up with the big boys. Ethan's favorite ride was the bumper cars. He is so funny--he has no fear on rides like the music express, which goes really fast and crazy, but he hated puff the rollercoaster. Aiden loved the merry go round and the kontiki (a smaller version of the tidal wave.) We had a great day, and we are grateful that we only do that once a year. Much thanks to the Chief and Marsha. You provided a great day, and lots of memories! We love you !

Potty trainer drop out
Well, I threw up my hands today and put Ethan back in diapers, realizing that he wasn't as into this potty thing as I am. I think it sounds like a great idea, he doesn't. I know that he knows what he is supposed to do, he just doesn't want to. This is the most frustrating thing I have done so far as a parent. Thanks to my mom for the pep talks at night reminding me to be patient and that he will get it. I just hope that it happens sooner than later...
On another note, for those of you who haven't read "twilight", you should. I am reading the third book in the series and am having a hard time keeping up with my responsibilities. It is a great, easy read, and I recommend it highly!

Thanks for the good time!
So, today I had the greatest, most overdue day! I went on a girls day with my mom and my sister without kids, and spent the whole day not taking care of anyone but myself. It was so nice to be out, not worry about the next time someone needs to go to the bathroom, and feel like an adult. I know that I don't do that for myself often enough, and I vow to make a change. We went to Ikea and spent a few hours wandering through that huge store. I wish that my credit cards were a little more giving--there were a lot of things I could have found use for. I did get my boys a couple of things that will keep their minds occupied for a little while. Then we headed to Naartjie, which I can't tell you how much I love this store. They have the cutest clothes, and they are different than what you see anywhere else. Plus they are comfortable and stylish at the same time. They are also user friendly for those kids who are trying to be independent and do everything themselves. Finally, we spent a lot of time at the DSW. For those of you who haven't heard of this, GO! It is amazing. The Designer Shoe Warehouse has tons of shoes and great deals, up to 80% off. Overall, it was a great day. Thanks Lynell and Mom for the good times!
P.S. Did anyone else see Tammy Squires on Good Things Utah? She looks the same!
P.S.S I am so frustrated with potty training. Does anyone have any suggestions???
