One week later...
Man, am I grateful that we are into a new week and not facing another surgery. We are back to business as usual. Ethan is doing great...still milking it a little bit, but doing well. We are ready for trick or treating and pumpkins and parties. It will be fun. I don't know what we will do when there are no more pumpkins to look at and talk about. Both boys have been carrying around their trick or treat buckets. It's very cute. I know that I need to post pictures...I am getting to it. I promise. (PS--something is wrong with my space bar. I promise I space in between but it looks weird. Santa is coming soon, maybe he can bring me a new computer)

Hooray!
I am really really tired, so this will be short sweet. Ethan did so well. He hated the iv but other than that, and once it was out, you would hardly know that he had anything done today. However, he doesn't want to go to school tomorrow...I really love those 2 hours every Tuesday and Thursday. (the doc said it was fine for him to go) I will post pictures later and the funny things he said when on a sedative. I am so glad it is over and that my alarm won't be going off at 4:30. Goodnight.

Today's the day...
So, bright and early for us...Ethan has to be at Primary Children's at 6 am for a 7:30 surgery. We have talked about what is going on, but I am afraid that as much as we talk about it, he still will be confused. After all, he's only 3. I will keep an update, but hopefully there won't be much to report. I will also get some pictures up.

Oh, the places you'll go...
Thanks for the idea, Mer! These are all the states I remember going to or that I have lived in. I think I have been to Washington and Oregon, but I don't remember a thing about them, so I am not counting them! Oh, and Dad, I knew you would say something, so, no, I have not been to Iowa!

Born to be wild!
This weekend, my brother Mike flew in from Arkansas to go for bike ride in Southern Utah with the Utah gang. They had a great time despite a few hours of cold weather. We (me and the boys) had a great time with my mom, sister, and brothers girlfriend shopping, eating, and taking the boys to the Children's museum downtown. It was really good to see my brother, even if it was only for a day. He is bringing his family and we are going to have a great Thanksgiving. Can't wait!
So, the other day, Ethan came home from school and put his backpack on the floor. Aiden picked it up and wanted to try it on. Well, of course Ethan wanted his bag back, and they got in a fight. However, I had another backpack that was meant for Aiden, I just didn't think he would really care. I got it and put it on him and he thought he was the coolest kid in town. He walked around with that bag for a good hour putting things in and out and strutting his stuff. Had to share.
Crazy news
So, today we had to go to Primary Children's hospital to have Ethans bellybutton looked at. Unfortunately, he will have to have surgery on the 22nd. It's outpatient surgery, but he will have to be put under. That is the part that is freaking me and Scott out. He was born with a herniated bellybutton that hasn't completely healed itself. I will keep everyone posted on what happens, and hopefully he doesn't get sick before then so the surgery will be pushed back. To be continued...
