Loving school
For Dr. Seuss day, Aiden came out wearing this cute giant hat. It was definately a miracle that he let me take this picture...he's not one to wear hats or glasses or anything cute for that matter that comes from school. He tells me all the time how much he "wuves Miss Chwis." We love her too!
True love
There is a darling little girl that lives down the street from us that Ethan is smitten over. Her name is Taygen and I must say he has great taste! He gets pretty giggly and goofy anytime you speak her name or see her. It's quite entertaining. For Valentines day, he wanted to make her a card and put on there that "He loved her" to which I quickly corrected him and said that he liked her. He made a great card and we took pictures of him hanging it on her front door. At first he didn't want to put his name on it, but right before we went to deliver it he said, "Mom, we should put my name on it so she knows it's from me." And wouldn't you know it, she sent a card right back. Oh to be young again.....
What's wrong with this picture???
Someone was a little over eager to get in the tub. This boy is even more sneaky than his big brother that was really sneaky. They all keep me on my toes!!! Thank goodness now I have two police men to help me out. At least those cute blond locks and blue eyes usually make up for the messes or mischievousness.

For my memory
Driving home this morning from taking Aiden to school, I was complaining out loud about a driver that was not smart when it came to merging. (I know, those don't really exist in Utah) Ethan jumped in and said, "Yea, most drivers aren't smart." "Most everyone." "But I didn't say Jesus." I didn't quite understand, so I said, "Why would you even say Jesus?" He goes, "Mom, Jesus isn't a bad driver, just everyone else!" This coming from the boy that kindly brought me a burnt cookie last night...

What we've been up to...
I have really started to slack on my blog. Time to play a little catch up!
We had an amazing Christmas once again, and were blessed to spend it with most of our family. (We missed The Grimm's of Arkansas!) We did a lot with extended family and with our own family and it was great. We even had a very special visitor come to our home to make sure he should keep three little boys on his good list...they passed, but I would have to say that they got lucky this year. These boys are keeping me on my toes for sure, and making me earn my stripes. Santa came to talk to the boys about being good and asked them what they wanted this year. He also gave Ethan a good talk about being an example and a good big brother. I was hopeful that it would help, and I think it has a little. I will miss the threats of "Santa is watching you" or "I'm calling Santa right now if you don't stop." I don't understand why that is the most effective at the end of the year...
I tried to explain to E that maybe it wasn't so great to have Santa come visit because that meant that he really had to think hard about whether or not he had been good this year. Anyway, here are some pictures of the great visit!

Hearing the jingle bells...and giddy with anticipation!
Aiden was a lot more into Santa this year, and still can't stop wishing you a Merry Christmas.
And of course, this guy wasn't having any of it!
