So it's been a while...
But I have a good excuse. Or maybe a few. I haven't felt like myself lately, I've been in a I hate winter rutt, and my kid keeps getting sick. Can't figure out why Aiden doesn't get sick, but Ethan does. Two weeks ago, he started running a temp of 104, and then was ok the next day, besides the runny nose. He shook that off pretty good, and it was back to business as usual, or so I thought. Last week we went to the South Davis Rec Center and pretended like we were playing on the beach in Mexico. It felt so good to be there until Ethan pooped his pants. (Thank goodness not in the water!) Since we are cooped up in the house, we have really been working on the poop thing, and I think we might be on the right road again. I don't want to jinx it though. Sunday, we went to church and Ethan started coughing like a smoker the next day. And today, he started running another 104 temp. The poor thing is miserable. I got him to take a nap this afternoon, and when he woke up, I thought a soak in the tub might feel good. Well, he agreed, and of course Aiden needed in on the action. So they both got in and splashed and had fun. Ethan decided he had had enough, so I got him out and left Aiden in the tub while I got Ethan dressed. My kids don't usually get in my tub because their bathroom is warmer. But today they did. When Aiden was in there, he found the button that turned on the jets. Scared the crap out of him and I told him to not touch. No is not in Aiden's vocabulary. He went after it again, and again freaked himself out. And by the way, I didn't fill the tub up all the way so the jets spray everywhere. He screamed and froze because he didn't know what to do. In the meantime, I am trying to help Ethan get dressed because when he is sick, he can't do anything for himself. Again, Aiden pushed the button and water went everywhere. Plus the drama of freaking himself out. This time, Ethan got freaked out and I had two screaming kids, shivering and I can't stop laughing. What a great mom I am! I only wish that I had my video camera out...maybe I could have won some money at my kids expense!

Sometimes you just have to laugh! It takes the edge off! I love your baby count, I always feel like it is going down quick, I'm sure you don't feel the same way!
Wow! Sounds like you've got your hands full. The joys of motherhood! :)
