Little brother gets married!!!

So, I know that I mentioned my brother was getting married, I've just been late in posting about it. September 6th was the big day, and it was beautiful too. It was so fun to have Mike and Missy and their family out here...we miss them a lot...and I got to soak in some unusual girl time by painting fingernails, toes, doing hair, etc. It was really fun, and put me (and my boys) out of our element. Ethan keeps asking me what the stuff is on my toes (thanks Heda) and when we were painting fingernails, he was very curious about why we would do something like that...especially his mom. I asked him if he wanted his done and he ran away as fast as he could. We didn't do a lot of activities like we usually do because there was still a lot to do for the wedding. Plus I decided to pack in a baby blessing too. Wow, it was a lot. We did make a trip to Naartjie for winter and fall clothing, and again it was fun to soak up some girl time by pretending I had a girl to put in purple. (Anybody see a theme here??) I also got really spoiled by Madilyn and Missy because they were so nice to keep Camden and my other two happy. It was rare to see one of them without the baby in their arms. Missy and I were trying to figure out how they could get a boy and we could get a girl...but decided it would be expensive.

On another note, I am so happy that Matt has found someone to spend his life with and that makes him happy. It was so awesome to be in the temple with all of my siblings and watch him on his happiest day. I don't remember the last time I saw a smile so big on his face. I know that he and Lyndsey will be happy together and I am glad they found eachother. Welcome to the family Lyndsey, hope you know what you are in for, but I guess you are stuck with us now!! : )

And as a side note, and a small reminder to myself and Scott...remember how awesome it was to look at our family and Lyndsey's family and see that each of the children and their siblings were able to be in the temple. What a great accomplishment for each of the moms and dads who got everyone there...that is my goal someday.

Here are the pictures!

The happy couple!

The parents and Matt

Adam and Lynell

Mike and Matt

Mike and Missy

Cute flower girls
You could tell that Ethan had been around girls a lot this week because they kept talking about being the flower girls at the wedding and wearing pretty dresses etc. When we were getting ready and talking about the wedding, Ethan said, "Yea Mom, the girls are going to be flower girls and I'm going to be the pumpkin boy." Told you he loves his pumpkins!!!

I love this picture of Aiden

Love this one too!

Missy and Cam...Either she or Madi had him unless he needed food. I was spoiled and had a hard time on Monday when they left.

Bompa and Cam at the blessing.

My boys were so good at the temple...I was a bit nervous because Aiden was due for a nap and there was a water fountain. They were very good to not go in the water, but just stick their hands in. I was really proud of them. Ethan was excited to have his picture taken with everyone.

Cam was really hungry in this picture and had been so patient, but I think we pushed him a little too long. I love this picture of the two of them together.

Cute Emma

Silly Ethan

Ethan being told what to do by girls...get used to it, buddy!

My little nephew, Gavin

Camden and his great grandma Harrop (at his blessing)

Grandma Grimm and the Arkansas girls

Another little helper, Malorie. She was always handing someone his blanket or binkie. And was so cute when she wanted to hold him...never really asked, just smiled really big when you asked her if she wanted to hold him. Don't you love her hair?

A rare picture of me on the blog with my sweetie...

Scott and the kids...getting his fill of girl time.

We had a fun week and it was hard to get back into the swing of things. Can't wait to see everyone again at Christmas!

What a great day it must have been to be with your whole family. It has been a long time since my whole family has been together.
Tell Matt congratulations for me! I'm so happy for him.
