Love it!

So, we are taking swimming lessons to gear up for the many days ahead at Cherry Hill (until July) and having a blast. Today we were extra lucky to have my mom join us and lend a helping hand in the end. (I am taking a mom and tots class with Aiden while Ethan is in his own lesson) After we had finished our lesson, had our clothes back on, and looked outside to see a ton of rain coming down, we decided to go up to my mom's house and play for awhile. On our way, we passed the temple and the following conversation occured:
"Mom, I see the temple. It's beautiful. Who is that guy on the top?"
"It's the Angel Moroni."
"What is he doing with that thing?"
"Blowing a horn."
"What's his name again?"
"The Angel Moroni."
"Oh, Angel Ramon-i. I can't wait to tell dad about him."

And then, to top it off, we were getting the kids in pj's for the night and bathed, and I was tickling Ethan and I said something like, "tell me why you love me" so I would stop getting him. He said, because I do. I said why, and he said, "because Heavenly Father sent you to me." That was a great way to start off the mother's day weekend, especially since it is a day I would rather pass by. I never understood why my mom said she didn't like the day until I became a mom. Now I know.

And not to leave Aiden out, he is getting a vocabulary, FINALLY! I was getting worried about him. Some of my favorite things that he says are, "way to go" "here you go" "please" "i speed" (quoting Lightning McQueen. Can you see a pattern in our family???) and he is really trying to say I love you. When the day is done, and I look at my boys, and think back of the things we have done and what I can do better the next day, I am grateful for them that they are patient with me and love me unconditionally. I really am grateful, and even though I don't like mother's day, I am the luckiest girl in the world!!!

Erin, I am growing a kid. I do not know what sleep is anymore because I can't get comfortable and when I do, my mind can't stop thinking of the things I need to do to get ready for the new rugrat! So, sleep? No concept! :)

When our kids were Ethan age they called the City/County Building the other temple, "cause it has a guy on top!" Makes sense! I love when you write things Ethan says, 'cause I can just here him saying it, it is a riot!
