One brave kid

So, I have temporarily lost the cord to my camera so I can post pictures. Today was a pretty crazy day for Ethan. We knew that he had a few cavities that needed to be taken care of and we attempted once to no avail. He did not go for it. So, the next step was to knock him out completely, which scared me, but I couldn't really see anyway around it. When we got him asleep, we discovered that 2 of the 4 cavities that needed to be fixed needed root canals. I sure hope this poor kid does not have my teeth. I have had more root canals than I care to remember. So many that I can fall asleep in the dentist chair--it was a second home to me at one time. I was sure proud of him!

On another note, we are definately procrastinating the arrival of our new boy. I can remember the hustle and bustle of the first. It was constantly on my mind. The week that we found out Ethan was a boy, his bedding was ordered, the crib was put together, and then we sat and waited. (We had a lot of time when I was on bed rest!) I miss the excitement that came with a first baby. Not that I am not excited, but I guess I have a lot more anxiety this time than any time before. I just looked at the countdown and saw that it said 88 days...and knowing my history and having a great doctor, I know that 88 really means 74 because I have big babies and my awesome doctor tries to avoid me having c-sections. So I always have been started 2 weeks early at least. Guess I better kick it into high gear and get ready, because ready or not, he's coming sooner than later!!!

2 root canals! That poor little guy! I am glad he got to sleep through that! I understand how you feel about your baby coming fast! It feels like that happens the more kids and chaos you have going on! It creeps up on you! I felt that same way you described!
